چکیده
The thermal stability of antireflective moth-eye topographical features fabricated by nanoimprint lithography on poly (methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) incorporating TiO2nanoparticles is explored. effect nanoparticle load the relaxation dynamics nanostructure evaluated via grazing incidence small angle x-ray scattering measurements byin situmonitoring structural decay nanopatterns upon annealing. It demonstrated that incorporation to imprinted surface nanocomposite films delays greatly pattern which, in turn, enhances patterned topography even at temperatures well above polymer glass transition (Tg). improved behavior will significantly enhance their functionality and performance light-trapping applications where typically rise, such as solar devices or panels.

Polymer/montmorillonite nanocomposites with improved thermal properties. Part II: Thermal stability of montmorillonite nanocomposites based on different polymeric matrixes
In previous part of this work factors influencing the thermal stability of polymer nanocomposite materials were indicated, such as chemical constitution of organic modifier, filler content, nanocomposites’ structure and the processing-dependent degree of homogenization of nanofiller, were presented. In this part the basic changes in thermal behaviour of different polymeric matrixes (e.g. polyol...
متن کاملAlternative moth-eye nanostructures: antireflective properties and composition of dimpled corneal nanocoatings in silk-moth ancestors
Moth-eye nanostructures are a well-known example of biological antireflective surfaces formed by pseudoregular arrays of nipples and are often used as a template for biomimetic materials. Here, we provide morphological characterization of corneal nanostructures of moths from the Bombycidae family, including strains of domesticated Bombyx mori silk-moth, its wild ancestor Bombyx mandarina, and a...
متن کاملBlack metal thin films by deposition on dielectric antireflective moth-eye nanostructures.
Although metals are commonly shiny and highly reflective, we here show that thin metal films appear black when deposited on a dielectric with antireflective moth-eye nanostructures. The nanostructures were tapered and close-packed, with heights in the range 300-600 nm, and a lateral, spatial frequency in the range 5-7 μm(-1). A reflectance in the visible spectrum as low as 6%, and an absorbance...
متن کاملThermal stability of ice on Ceres with rough topography
The dwarf planet Ceres may have an ice-rich crust, and subsurface ice exposed by impacts or endogenic activity would be subject to sublimation. We model surface and subsurface temperatures on Ceres to assess lifetimes of water ice and other volatiles. Topographic shadowing allows a small but nonnegligible fraction (∼0.4%) of Ceres’ surface to be perennially below the ∼110 K criterion for 1 Gyr ...
متن کاملIrradiance enhancement and increased laser damage threshold in As₂S₃ moth-eye antireflective structures.
It has been experimentally observed that moth-eye antireflective microstructures at the end of As2S3 fibers have an increased laser damage threshold relative to thin-film antireflective coatings. In this work, we computationally study the irradiance enhancement in As2S3 moth-eye antireflective microstructures in order to explain the increased damage threshold. We show that the irradiance enhanc...
